LAKR 35/3 ( 6 overs). 7-13 overs: The early collapse came to the rescue when Sherfane Rutherford played a magnificent and explosive cameo. He got 50 off 22, breaking five fours and 3 sixes His attack took LAKR to 100/5 in 13.4 overs, giving them the much required momentum. 14-20 overs: Wickets kept on falling even after the heroics of Rutherford (86 off 44 balls), as another four fell including 113/6 at the 15th over and later 151/8 at the 19th LAKR finished with 154/8 off their 20 overs- a score within the reach of MI MI New york innings: 155/2 (17.5 overs)

Powerplay ( 1 6 overs ): MI reply in the same coin. They scored 39/1 after 6 overs with only de Kock getting out early and the other batsmen taking charge.
